Product Description:
This alumina ceramic grinding media can be used in ball mills and stirring mills for the wet and dry ultra-fine grinding of materials such alumina, zirconia silicate, feldspar, quartz, kaolin, glaze, ink, and ceramics. It comes in a variety of shapes, including ceramic cylinders, soda-lime glass, and alumina oxide balls. The grinding medium is created using static pressure forming technology and premium-quality raw materials that are fired at high temperatures. Alumina Ceramic Grinding Media can efficiently expand the volume of the ball mill, increasing the number of grinding materials while also reducing the grinding time.
Advantages:
This alumina ceramic grinding media can be used to polish metal parts as well as grind or separate non-metallic mineral powder and coating ingredients. It works with all types of grinding and polishing equipment. If you add it to rubber, the wear coefficient rises. Thermally, this alumina grinding media performs quite well. So you can grind till you reach the desired particle size. Please don't hesitate to get in touch with us if you're interested.

How to test an aluminum ball?
In order to assess shock resistance and wear loss over time, an alumina ball is struck in a polyurethane jar under specific conditions.
Jar for grinding
The polyurethane grinding jar has an inner diameter of 200mm and a length of 220mm.
testing readiness
Put 4kg of qualified-looking alumina ball in a jar with 4L of water, place on an anti-wearing machine set to 80 rpm for two hours, then remove, clean, and dry for preparation.
testing phase
Balance the sample's weight following treatment (M1)
Put the sample and water in a jar with the same weight, and then leave it on the anti-wearing machine for 24 hours at 80 rpm.
Remove the samples, clean them, and then weigh them again (M2)
Wear loss is (M1-M2) × 1000 / M1.
